Hybrids

"The moon gazed on my midnight labours, while, with unrelaxed and breathless eagerness, I pursued nature to her hiding-places."

Frankenstein (Mary Shelley, 1818)

Speedy (CB 2004) is a 50% carpondro produced by breeding a female green tree

python dam to a jungle carpet python sire (breeder Speedy Gonzalez).   His intense

yellow bands blend into a palette of subtle pastel colors toward his ventral scales

(this appears most vividly in sunlight conditions).   He is an active, curious python,

and appears equally comfortable in arboreal as well as terrestrial spaces.

Morpheus (CB 2008) is a 75% carpondro produced by pairing a 50% carpondro dam

with a green tree python sire (breeder Marc Spataro).   This python must be seen to

be believed.   He is a mythical appearing beast, like something out of a dream.    His

colors not only span the yellow-green-blue spectrum but change from frontal to distal,

and dorsal to ventral on the snake.

Merlin (CB 2008)  is a 75% carpondro male sibling to Morpheus.   He has intense

bronze-copper colored eyes and a wonderful mix of green, blue and purple colors

that jump out in sunlight conditions.

Morelia Trophy Club Hybrid member-in-waiting:

Carpondro#2 (CB 6/2010) is a 75% green tree python/25% carpet python creation. This magical appearing creature had a green tree python sire and carpondro dam (dam was 50% green tree python and 50% carpet python mix of jungle, diamond, and coastal blood).   The ontologic color and behavior changes should be fun to follow in this python!
