Jungle Carpet Pythons
*See my article on how to find and care for a trophy jungle carpet python in theOcho (CB 2007) is a male jungle carpet python and the only holdback from my
pairing of Zalara (dam) x Asklepios (sire). My wife liked the symmetry of his
pattern as a hatchling, and advised me to keep him. Man am I glad I listened to
her!!! This snake has an incredibly clean pattern of deep black and vibrant yellow.
He has sired clutches with Aphrodite (JCP) and Gamma (DJJ).
He is pictured here at age 1 year (studio & outside) and 3 years old, respectively:
Arianny (CB 2010) is a female jungle carpet python and the only holdback from my
pairing of Aphrodite (dam) x Ocho (sire). This little gem was initially sold, however,
the buyer cancelled because she was slow to begin eating. She spent much of her first
several months "knotted up" in her water dish. Since then she has become very hardy
and is turning into an outstanding "A+ grade" jungle carpet python.

Morelia Trophy Club Hall of Fame:
Asklepios (CB 2001) is a male JCP from unknown stock and
has sired some amazing jungle clutches with Zalara (Ocho is
one of the progeny from their 2007 clutch). He is massive,
over 8 feet long, and has kept his bright, clean yellow/dark
black coloration without smudging. He is an awesome
display animal and has served as a "hands on" show-and-tell
snake for countless school children. He has joined the fine
JCP collection of Nate in New Hampshire.
Zalara (CB 2002) is a female JCP from Don Hamper
stock. She has great velvet black/vivid yellow color
and a classic jungle pattern. She has produced many
trophy quality jungles and is holding her color
extremely well into adulthood. She has joined the elite
python collection of Dave and BJ at RedTail Classics.
Aphrodite (CB 2004 - RIP 2011) was a Doug Price 
creation with a "50-50" ratio pattern of INTENSE
yellow-to-black. She produced some outstanding
jungle carpet pythons and diamond-jungle jaguars
during her stay in the Morelia Trophy Club. She
expired from a strange skin infection that was
impervious to antibiotic treatment.
